Tricia Simpson

Welcome!  I’m excited to continue in the role as Vice Principal at Delburne School this year!  I am eager to work with students and families across our Kindergarten to Grade 12 school. This school year marks my 19th year within the teaching profession, where I have taught students in every grade from Kindergarten to grade 12. The majority of my teaching has been focused in the upper elementary realm.

Teaching is a profession that I love. I enjoy the excitement of watching the children learn and discover. The desire to gather further knowledge, as well as the willingness to take risks, is something that I love to see within our school. When the students are actively engaged their learning can be taken to new heights. I look forward to seeing this excitement for learning this year at DCS. 

Together, my husband and I have three children. We love watching them pursue their passions, particularly in their post-secondary schooling and their baseball and softball adventures. 

I am sincerely looking forward to the 2024 - 2025 school year.
