Mrs. Jocelyn Pennock

Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year!  I am so excited to be the principal at Delburne School again this year!

For the past 15 years, I have been dedicated to the field of education.  I have served various roles including classroom teacher, LST member, Student Services representative, Nutrition for Learning coordinator, principal at Elnora School and most recently, principal at Delburne School.

On a more personal note, I grew up in the Delburne area and attended Delburne Centralized School for my entire Kindergarten-Grade 12 schooling.  I have had several family members both attend Delburne School and teach at Delburne School so there is a great deal of history for me within the building!  I have so many incredible memories of my time at Delburne School and I feel so fortunate to have benefited from rural education.  I have three children ages 24, 22 and 20.  My oldest daughter is a Registered Nurse, my middle daughter has completed her Bachelor of Education and is teaching at Penhold Elementary and my youngest son is working on our family farm.  I am married to Bryce, who farms full time and we live just outside of Elnora.

I am truly honoured to be part of this vibrant school community.  I appreciate the long standing history and traditions at Delburne School and I know that there is much to be celebrated.
