I am ecstatic to be continuing with Delburne Centralized School in the 2017-2018 school year!

I grew up in Blackfalds, AB before relocated to Calgary, AB to complete a combined degree in a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Bachelor of Education. I had been substitute teaching for the Calgary Board of Education before relocating to Delburne Centralized School in February of 2017.

I am passionate about arts education and believe it instills a confidence for all who journey through it. As an educator I believe in facilitating a creative process in which students are encouraged to experiment with tools, resources and environments. I believe in nurturing the whole person and that arts education allows for the individual learner to develop a sense of identity while developing skills that assist success in multiple areas of their lives.

I am enthusiastic about continuing to build and enhance the arts program here in Delburne as well as share my passion for reading and writing through the English Language Arts. My goals for the year is to instill a vocabulary and appreciation for art in order to foster critical thinkers in addition to building strong relationships with my students.

Alongside my love for the arts I enjoy hiking, backpacking, volunteering, travelling, reading, cooking, animals, nature, camping, movies, music and building new memories.

I am powered by my desire to find the unique potential in each and every person and I look forward to learning more about my students and their families. If you ever need anything or have any questions my door is always open! Feel free to call or send me an email.
